Push the wrought iron gate and you will be overcome by the very special atmosphere of this three stars hotel.
This 19th century residence was built on the site of a farm of the Knights Templar, by Jean-Baptiste Jacotot, a great traveller who brought back many species of trees from his expeditions all over the world; many of these still contribute to the charm of the surrounding grounds. The old buildings have been completely renovated to ensure you receive a warm and comfortable reception in this historic place.

If the Château de Challanges is a magical place, this is also because of its exceptional setting, in the heart of a seven-hectare forest; a river, which hides an old underground passage, flows through the middle of the park, a place for frogs and wild ducks to gather. Why not take a stroll through the woods in the pure, clear air...

Or unwind and enjoy the gentle pleasure of doing nothing, relax beside the swimming pool, admiring the mature trees.
For family celebrations, business meetings or any other occasion, the Chateau and its magnificent grounds are at your disposal. You can even choose to open our wine cellar to your guests.

--> From Paris, stay on the motorway at the first exit (24 Beaune-St Nicolas) and instead take exit 24.1 (Beaune-Hospices).
--> Go right at the roundabout towards Challanges.
--> Go straight on at the traffic lights,
then take the second turning on the right.
--> Go over the motorway.
--> In the village, take the first right then turn right again.
